HP & Shopee Rewards Experts Speak On C&B Success

The line of speakers that make up the Employee Benefits Asia 2017 agenda will unveil its proven methods for attracting and retaining talent through compensation and recognition programs. Employee Benefits Asia, the largest regional conference dedicated to the compensation and benefits strategy, welcomes top HR executives and C & B experts from HP, Shoppe and Schneider Electric.

Among the highlights of Derrick Lim's professional history are his years with RS Components, Toshiba, StarHub, and NOL, as well as other conglomerates that have designed and delivered bespoke programs to become a partner in a consulting firm. Known as an experienced facilitator, change agent and L & D consultant for global companies, Lim is the lead of employee training and involvement in Hewlett-Packard. Its function is to design and develop curricula in partnership with SMEs internally and externally to address the largest competition gaps in Asia Pacific and Japan.

In driving the employee attraction, motivation and retention of Shop, Lim Teck Yong has launched initiatives to strengthen talent acquisition, employer brand, L & D and employee commitment. In addition to being the company's team leader, Lim is also the regional chief of operations. Prior to Shopee, he spent more than four years with the Boston Consulting Group.

Fiona Woo is vice president of human resources at Schneider Electric. She has a rich background in delivering sustainable HR solutions to organizations enrolled in fast-moving business environments in both mature and developing economies. In his 11 years with Schneider Electric, Woo also oversaw the human resources function for Hong Kong; Management of rewards solutions in Asia Pacific; Development of Center of Excellence for Global Reward Solutions, as well as conducting transformation projects into the global human resources function to support the group's talent agenda.
